Network Event

Networking events

Our networking events are free and are a blend of input on particular areas of phonics and early reading strategy. They facilitate practice-sharing discussions, as well as an opportunity to build links with colleagues in the area. This year, we’re trying something new and delivering our network meetings in person in each of the counties we cover as an English Hub.

• Devon, hosted at Countess Wear Primary School

• Somerset, hosted at TBC

• Dorset, hosted at Dorchester Baptist Church

We’ve also adjusted our network meetings based on your feedback to half-days, but with just three meetings per year. We’d love to see you at 09:30-12:00 for:

• Oracy on 21st October 2025

• Writing on 24th February 2026

• Reading on 20th May 2026

These sessions are aimed at Heads and/or English & Reading leads. They will not be recorded.
